PITTSBURGH (AP) — Hundreds of University of Pittsburgh students marched in the streets early Wednesday to protest Republican Donald Trump’s presidential election victory.

Some students shouted “Not my president” and the Pitt News — the student-run campus newspaper — tweeted about another event planned for 6 p.m. Wednesday.

The newspaper tweeted a line to that event on Facebook entitled, “Emergency Meeting: Let’s Unite to Stop President Trump.”

Some students among the marchers did call for unity, however.

Student Colin Jones says, “The people have elected Donald Trump as president. Although I’m surprised, I think we need to listen.”
