Jefferson-Morgan Middle/High School Student Council will hold its annual powderpuff football game at 6 p.m. today at Parker Field. Admission is $5 and all proceeds benefit Braedyn’s Battle. Braedyn Wasko is battling Ewing’s sarcoma. He will be in attendance and will be an “Honorary Rocket” for the evening. He will lead the girls onto the field and hand out the trophy to the winning team.
McMurray Lions Club is selling high-quality, heavy-duty vinyl bags in 30- and 33-gallon sizes for trash, and 18 gallons for kitchen use. Brooms also are available. Christmas Flea Market, including decorations, toys, jewelry and baked goods, will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and Nov. 19 at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Sixth Street and Lookout Avenue, Charleroi.
First Christian Church, 615 E. Beau St., Washington, will hold its annual fall craft fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, sponsored by the Disciples Women’s Ministries. Lunch will be available. There will also be a bake sale, Chinese auction, 50/50 drawing, homemade items, crafts, jewelry, gourmet products, local crafters, cosmetics and more.
Trinity Girls Soccer will hold a Ladies Day Out Bingo from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the South Strabane fire hall, Oak Spring Road, Washington. Doors open at 12:30. Game prizes will include designer purses, jewelry, Brighton, Yeti, KitchenAid and more. There will be a 50/50 raffle, concessions, daubers and extra cards. A $20 donation includes 15 games. There will also be early bird game for $1 a board and coverall game for $1 a board.
