The Monessen High School a cappella ensemble recently sang Christmas carols for community members and students enrolled in the Southwestern Pennsylvania Human Services Inc. day care in the lobby of the Monessen Municipal Complex. The children were transported to the complex via firetruck. Members of the ensemble who performed include, front row, from left, Amanda Halgas, Maria Lucy, Quenten Zboyovsky, Andrea Kroll and Dillon Shash; and back row, Jack Sacco, Albert Johnson and Bennett Zboyovsky. The ensemble is directed by Matt Shorrow.
