W.Va. man arraigned in ’15 home invasion
A West Virginia man was arraigned Wednesday on a warrant obtained by Smith Township police in connection with a home invasion in Joffre in July 2015.
Anthony Wayne Eddy, 29, of Follansbee, is charged with robbery, burglary, aggravated assault, theft, reckless endangerment, terroristic threats, conspiracy and unlawful restraint. Three alleged co-conspirators, Tyler Blackburn, 27, of Wellsburg, W.Va.; Glenn Albert Stewart III, of Scio, Ohio, and Douglas Raven Madison, 23, of Weirton, W.Va., remain at large.
They are accused of breaking into a home on Harris Street and robbing and assaulting a 55-year-old man and his 46-year-old friend.
Eddy was arraigned before District Judge Gary Havelka and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond. Eddy will have a Jan. 4 preliminary hearing before Havelka.
