The best letter I’ve read
The letter written by Linda Price Jardini in the Thursday edition of the Observer-Reporter is absolutely the best letter to the editor I have had the pleasure of reading since returning to the area and subscribing to the newspaper.
Eloquent in style, factually to the point, and making observations with which I totally agree, she hits the nail on its head.
One of the most important opinions she expressed is the hope that the Republicans in Congress grow backbones and refuse to approve some of President-elect Trump’s most egregious ideas. To me, it is most important in the Senate, where the Democrats, with enough help from some brave Republicans, could prevent some of Trump’s worst Cabinet nominations. Looking at his choice for attorney general, Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions, it’s frightening who Trump could nominate to fill the current Supreme Court vacancy.
