Assault charges: Logan John Lynn Miller, 29, of 855 Rolling Meadows Road, Waynesburg, was charged by state police with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly attacked another inmate in the Greene County jail on Christmas Eve. Police said the victim, Justin Richter, was taking a shower at the jail when Miller struck him in the back of the head, in the face and elsewhere. Police said Richter was able to run out of the shower to get away from Miller, but he was later treated at WHS-Greene hospital for a gash on his head and bruised ribs. Miller was in jail on $15,000 bond for allegedly attacking an elderly couple while robbing them of a purse and shotgun Dec. 17 in Richhill Township.
