Helen Louise Walker-Gallagher of Washington celebrated her 90th birthday with a surprise party with family and friends at the American Legion, given by her children and grandchildren.

She was born December 20, 1926, in Waynesburg.

Her children are Ruth Ellen Roney of Avella, Sue Ware of New York, Jeffrey Gallagher of Pittsburgh and John Gallagher of Washington.

Her grandchildren are Trudy (Scott) Roney, Vicki (Vaughn) Hixenbaugh, Scott (Adriane) Ware, Stephen Ware, Shane, Derek, Vanessa and Evan Gallagher.

She has 13 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Walker-Gallagher enjoys playing dartball, bingo and traveling.
