Another promise?
So Sen. Bob Casey wants to expand broadband service to rural areas. I remember when President Obama was elected eight years ago, we in rural areas were going to have service in two years. Of course, that did not happen.
My home is 10 miles from the Washington County Courthouse. My neighbors and I have no cell phone service, no cable, no high-speed Internet. Of course, we have satellite dish service, which is very expensive and not very reliable. But the most concerning is no cell phone service. There is not one cell tower to serve our area.
Is this just another promise?
