Wind Ridge man sentenced for May 2014 burglary
A Wind Ridge man who pleaded guilty in May to theft, receiving stolen property and criminal conspiracy was sentenced Thursday to 15 months to 3 years in prison.
Albert Ray Rogers, 30, of 6 Wheeling Creek Mobile Home Park, was charged in November 2015 in connection with the May 2014 burglary of a McCracken Road home in Aleppo Township, state police said. Willie W. Jones, 25, of 142 Kuhn Hill Road, Wind Ridge, was a co-defendant in the case.
Greene County Judge Lou Dayich also ordered Rogers to share with Jones the responsibility of paying $349 in restitution to Charles Jacquay. Rogers was taken to SCI-Pittsburgh for the remainder of his sentence. He was given credit for time served since Dec. 1.
Rogers will be eligible for the Recidivism Risk Reduction Incentive program in 11 months.
Jones plead guilty to burglary, criminal trespass, theft, receiving stolen property, criminal conspiracy and criminal mischief. He was sentenced in December 2015 to 15 months to 10 years in prison.
