Donora man charged with rape
A Donora man is accused of raping a borough woman last month in a residence on Ida Avenue.
Borough police charged Arthur Marion Miller, 27, of 100 Modisette Ave., with aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, sexual assault, false imprisonment and unlawful restraint, court records show.
Police said Miller and the victim were friends and that’s why she allowed him inside her residence after he knocked on the door about 2:45 p.m. Jan. 6. She told police he followed her into the kitchen, where she allegedly was raped, the affidavit states.
Miller is in Washington County jail on $250,000 bond set Friday by District Judge Mark Wilson.
