Registration is open for Peters Township girls lacrosse fourth- to eighth-grade spring season. Practices will held Sunday evenings at Peters Township Recreation Center in February. Regular season practices and games will begin in March and end in late May. Cost of $250 covers coaching, official fees, buses, banquet and more. To register, visit www.ptglc.usl.la. First Christian Church, East Beau Street in Washington, will hold an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner, featuring meat sauce, salad, Italian bread, drink and dessert, from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday. Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation will hold a luminary Valentine’s night walk at 7 p.m. Feb. 10 on a portion of the paved walking trail in Mingo Creek County Park. Participants should meet at Shelter 2 and, after the walk, stop by the shelter to enjoy hot chocolate around a campfire. Dress for the weather. There is no fee. Oldies Valentine’s Day Dance, featuring DJ Ted Knisley, will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight Feb. 11 at Brownsville Sons & Daughters of Italy, Frank Ricco Lodge 731, 16 Race St. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 per person and includes food.
