Man charged: Brian L. Carnegie, 50, of 9435 Noblestown Road, McDonald, was charged last week by McDonald police with simple assault and harassment in connection with a Jan. 1 incident. Carnegie is accused of hitting a 22-year-old man during a confrontation at a home on Washington Avenue, Midway. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Gary Havelka.
