North Strabane Township residents are being reminded to keep the doors locked on their vehicles after several were entered late Thursday or Friday morning.

Police received several reports from residents on Stonegate Drive in the Stonegate plan off Waterdam Road of items being stolen from unlocked vehicles. Police said the thief apparently was looking for the unlocked doors and stealing items including loose change and jewelry. Police also received similar reports earlier this week of vehicles being entered. A gun was stolen from one of those vehicles.

Anyone who might have seen a suspicious person in that area is asked to call police at 724-746-8474.
