PA CareerLink offering job fair
PA CareerLink Washington County, in partnership with the Southwest Corner Workforce Development Board, the Washington County Chamber of Commerce and the Tri-County Oil & Gas Expo Committee, is sponsoring a Washington County Job Fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 15 at American Legion Post 175, 168 Park Ave, Washington.
The groups are working to recruit employers from a variety of industries, and information on small business start-ups will also be available at the event.
Freedom Transit will offer free shuttle service from the East Chestnut Street transit center to the American Legion, every half hour starting at 10:45 a.m. The last shuttle from the job fair back to the transit center will be at 3 p.m.
To assist job seekers with being prepared for this event, CareerLink Washington County will offer a Job Fair Preparation Workshop prior to the event.
A résumé/Interviewing Tips workshop will be offered on March 1 and again on March 8 at 1 p.m. at CareerLink offices at 90 W. Chestnut St.
People seeking employment are being asked to plan to attend the job fair with their résumé in hand and dressed for an interview.
