Belleville – 50 years
Gerald and Karen (Hixenbaugh) Belleville of Washington, formerly of Claysville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, February 19, at Main Street Café in Claysville. They will renew their wedding vows at 2 p.m., with Pastor Linda Mankey officiating.
Mr. and Mrs. Belleville were married on February 20, 1967, in the home of the Rev. Rensselaer O. Broekhuizen in Washington.
Their children are Cyndi (J. Darren) Scott of Taylorstown, Bobbi Belleville of Claysville and Eric (Sharon) Belleville of Washington.
Their grandchildren are Melinda Wolfe, William McAdoo, Danielle McKnight and Trey and Trent Belleville. They also have five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Belleville is retired from Columbia Gas Transmission, and Mrs. Belleville is retired from Washington Health System, where she now volunteers. She also is a member of the Red Hat Society.
