Truck crashes into tree
A plow truck crashed into a tree after running off Route 40 near the intersection of Route 519 in the Glyde area of South Strabane Township at about 8:15 a.m. Thursday. Washington County 911 said one person was taken to Washington Hospital. Route 40 in that area was closed for about 45 minutes. South Strabane Township police did not return calls seeking information. A number of fender-benders were reported throughout the region with the snowy weather Thursday.
