Washington Financial opens new branch in Burgettstown
Washington Financial Bank opened a branch at 1803 Main St., Burgettstown, the bank said in a news release.
The bank said the full-service location, its ninth branch, allows it to serve its current customers in the area even more conveniently while providing a platform for new customer growth.
“At Washington Financial, we recognize that while the future of banking continues to evolve in the electronic arena, our customers place high value on face-to-face interactions as well,” said President and CEO Brian J. Smith. “While many of our competitors are closing offices, Washington Financial Bank is pleased to be opening new locations and adding state-of-the art online banking solutions to our product suite.”
The bank, which employs more than 200 people, said it is also well underway with plans for a tenth branch in South Fayette Township, to be open in late spring. It will represent the bank’s first office in Allegheny County.
