Court cases
Numerous people recently appeared in Washington County Court on criminal charges. Among those appearing before Judge Valarie Costanzo were:
Michael R. Owens, 45, 100 Cross Ridge Lane, Houston; two counts of DUI; charged Sept. 5, 2015, and April 30, 2016; sentence – 12 months in the intermediate punishment program, 20 days on electronic home monitoring, $800 fine, 24-month driver’s license suspension and 12 months of ignition interlock device.
Timothy J. Jones, 56, 210 Springfield Ave., Washington; DUI; charged July 18, 2016; sentence – five years in the intermediate punishment program, six months on electronic home monitoring, $1,500 fine, 18-month driver’s license suspension and 12 months of ignition interlock device.
Russell I. Porter, 47, 489 Wayne St., Washington; DUI and driving while license is suspended or revoked; charged March 16, 2016; sentence – six months of probation and $500 fine.
Thomas J. Reilly, 68, 669 Buena Vista St., Washington; DUI; charged April 6, 2015; sentence – six months in the intermediate punishment program, 10 days on electronic home monitoring, $300 fine, 12-month driver’s license suspension and 12 months of ignition interlock device.
Jimmy Torres, 43, 428 Highland Ave., Charleroi; DUI; charged Jan. 1, 2016; sentence – six months in the intermediate punishment program, 10 days on electronic home monitoring, $300 fine, 12-month driver’s license suspension and 12 months of ignition interlock device.
Craig E. Wietrzykowski, 55, 1522 E. Maiden St., Washington; DUI; charged July 10, 2016; sentence – five years in the intermediate punishment program, six months on electronic home monitoring, $1,500 fine, 18-month driver’s license suspension and 12 months of ignition interlock device.
Douglas E. Macfann Jr., 22, 16 Vine St., Vestaburg; DUI; charged Jan. 31, 2015; sentence – six months of probation and $300 fine.

Cortney Orgovan, 25, 40 Bel Air Drive, Apt. A, Washington; theft by unlawful taking; charged Sept. 9, 2016; sentence – 12 months of probation, restitution and no contact with victims.
Hollie J. Reeves, 39, 65 Main St., Clarksville; retail theft; charged Jan. 26, 2016; sentence – 12 months of probation, restitution and no contact with Family Dollar.
Charles M. Priebe, 21, 354 Glen Park Drive, Bay Village, Ohio; escape, possession of a controlled substance and public drunkenness; charged July 13, 2016; sentence – 12 months of probation, $300 fine and 50 hours of community service.
Christopher R. Daugherty, 30, 2295 Country Club Road, Pittsburgh; delivery of a controlled substance; charged Oct. 30, 2015; sentence – 18 to 36 months in jail and 100 hours of community service.
Jordan Bercik, 35, 716 Conrad Ave., North Charleroi; possession with intent to deliver; charged April 3, 2015; sentence – 36 months in the intermediate punishment program and four months on electronic home monitoring.
Isaac Gonda, 35, 356 Burton Ave., Washington; firearms not to be carried without a license, persons not to possess a firearm and terroristic threats; charged June 29, 2015, and July 20, 2015; sentence – no less then one year to no more then two years in jail and five years of probation.
John R. Riggle Jr., 30, 2155 Springhill Furnace Road, Smithfield; receiving stolen property, fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, DUI and simple possession; charged June 7, 2016, July 14, 2016, and Sept. 29, 2016; sentence -18 to 36 months in jail, five years of probation, restitution and $1,000 fine.
