Sickened by protests

As a former U.S. Marine who has been part of various campaigns all around the world and spent time in the Middle East during the failed Iranian hostage rescue attempt under President Jimmy Carter, I must admit that I have watched the events unfold with regard to the happenings in Iraq as well as the happenings here in the United States and across Europe with mixed feelings.

I turn my television on and watch with sheer disgust as I witness the protests against President Trump taking place in other countries as well as here. I can almost understand the illogical anti-Trump sentiment in other countries because of what the liberal talking heads in the media continue to espouse about the president here in United States.

However, when I see these individuals who are supposedly Americans protesting against our president, against our troops, and against this war on terrorism, it sickens me to no end.

I ask myself, “Are these idiot protesters so brain dead that they feel nothing for the suffering of their fellow human beings around the world who have been killed or maimed at the hands of Islamic terrorists?”

Are these protesters completely brain dead to the point of being unable to connect the dots and realize that it is only a matter of time before the same starts to happen repeatedly here in America?

I watch the young men and women who make up America’s fighting force on my television and find myself filled with pride because these young people are the real heroes, not high-priced athletes, not movie or rock stars, and certainly not the gutless wonders that protest in the street and mock our president.

Ask England, France, Spain, Germany and Italy about the terrorists attacks they have suffered and how many of their citizens have been killed or maimed by these barbarians and then tell me you support these idiotic protests against Trump.
