Infant’s death at Pittsburgh-area housing complex probed
MCKEESPORT (AP) – Authorities in Western Pennsylvania are investigating the death of a 2-month-old infant in a housing complex near Pittsburgh.
Allegheny County authorities say Mckeesport police and paramedics responded to a Crawford Village unit shortly after 7 a.m. Wednesday after a report of an unresponsive infant.
Superintendent Coleman McDonough said in a statement that the child was pronounced dead at the scene.
The county medical examiner’s office identified the infant as 2-month-old Antoine Knight Jr. The office and county homicide detectives are investigating.
