O-R makes change to online commenting system
Beginning today, you must be a subscriber to the Observer-Reporter to post comments to stories on the newspaper’s website.
If you are not logged in as a subscriber, you will not be able to view or post comments on stories.
The commenting feature is intended to serve as a conduit for an exchange of information between readers. The change has been made to encourage civil discourse on stories and discourage irrelevant and inappropriate comments.
The Observer-Reporter reviews all content and has the discretion to ban users who violate the newspaper’s commenting terms of service.
