Waynesburg man sentenced on DUI
WAYNESBURG – A Waynesburg man found guilty of driving under the influence of alcohol during a nonjury trial in December was sentenced last week to six months of probation by Greene County President Judge Farley Toothman.
Scott Michael Shriver, 43, of 115 Moore St. was stopped by state police for a traffic violation Sept. 26, 2015, in Morrisville, Franklin Township. Shriver failed a field-sobriety test, and he refused a blood-alcohol test, state police said.
In addition to convicting Shriver of DUI during the Dec. 15 trial, Toothman found him guilty of two summary traffic violations and, as part of his sentence, ordered him to pay $325 in fines and to perform 75 hours of community service.
