Washington County Parks and Recreation staff will hold Snowshoeing at Sunset at 5 p.m. Feb. 17. Participants will meet at Mingo Creek County Park office. The staff will provide instruction, followed by a hike on modern snowshoes. There will need to be at least four inches of snow to hold the program. If there is not enough snow, a hike will be offered. There is no fee for the program, which includes the use of snowshoes. A limited number of snowshoes are available for adults and children.
