Money talks with TV ads
I read Jon Bauduin’s Feb. 5 letter about there being too many commercials on television and agree with him 100 percent.
I am 89 years-old and have watched television ever since it arrived. In those days, the number of television commercials that could air per half-hour was limited by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Today, the FCC overlooks all the old laws, and commercials have taken over. I guess big money is the answer.
I could once have a sandwich and a beer while watching TV. Not today. Who can eat when they talk about diarrhea, mucous, blood and vomit.
It will be worse in the future because money talks.
