Ex-restaurant worker sought on restroom peeping charges
MOUNTAINTOP (AP) – Police say a former Pennsylvania restaurant worker recorded dozens of female customers using the restroom while he was hiding above a drop ceiling.
Police in Wright Township, Luzerne County on Wednesday continued to search for 42-year-old Juan Pietro of Hazleton.
He was charged Saturday with making the recordings since Jan. 21 at Luigi’s Restaurant, the pizzeria where he worked. Police say he was discovered taking pictures and videos with his phone but fled, though he left behind the phone.
That resulted in charges that he’s recorded nearly 50 females, including some little girls, using the restroom.
Police are continuing to search for other alleged victims while pursuing Pietro.
