Vehicle entered: A resident of East Buffalo Church Road told state police that items were stolen from a vehicle.

Man charged: Mario W. Gregory, 45, of Carnegie, was charged this week by Canonsburg police with theft from a vehicle, public drunkenness, pedestrian under the influence of alcohol and not using the sidewalk. Police said he was found walking, intoxicated, down the middle of West College Street on Tuesday. Police also received reports he got into a least one vehicle and went through it. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Theft, receiving charges: Christopher Sickman, 32, of 121 N. Central Ave., Canonsburg, was charged this week by state police with theft and receiving stolen property. He is accused of stealing $100 and $249.41 in toys from a Marianna woman at an apartment at 60 Belair Drive, Canton, on Dec. 13. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Warrant arrest: Megan Sapp, 22, of 1677 Coolidge Ave., Monessen, was taken into custody Thursday during an incident at Chamber Plaza parking lot, Charleroi Regional police said. Police learned she was wanted in Westmoreland County. Borough police said they will charge her with possession of drug paraphernalia after finding her with needles and empty heroin and Suboxone stamp bags. She was released to Westmoreland County sheriff’s deputies.

Assault arrest: Jason Barazzon, 35, of 604 Fourth St., North Charleroi, was arrested Thursday night by Charleroi Regional police on charges of simple assault and harassment after he allegedly struck his wife in the face, head and stomach at their home. He was arraigned before District Judge Larry Hopkins and placed in Washington County Jail on $25,000 bond.

Trailers entered: McDonald police were called to Donaldson Distributing, 8419 Noblestown Road, Robinson, on Wednesday for a report of two metal trailers that had been entered after the padlocks were removed. It was not known if anything was stolen.

Warrant arrest: David W. Kempf, 32, of 135 Brookside Ave., Washington, was arraigned Friday before District Judge Robert Redlinger on a charge of possession of heroin after he allegedly overdosed on the drug at a home on Duncan Avenue in April 2014. He had been scheduled for a preliminary hearing last year, but a warrant was issued when he did not appear. He was placed in Washington County Jail on $5,000 bond.

Drug charges: Devon D. Boyd, 25, of 180 May Ave., Washington, was charged Friday by Washington police with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia after police say he was found with the drug during a compliance check by Washington County adult probation on Jan. 27. He was placed in Washington County Jail for violating probation. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Card used: Sally Johnston of Washington told Washington police Thursday that the information from her credit card was used without her permission to make $1,000 in purchases at online retailers, Netflix and Domino’s.

Camera stolen: Steve Maze of Allison Avenue told Washington police Thursday that one of the security cameras outside his home was stolen and wires cut on a second camera.

Stolen card used: Washington police said a credit card that had been in a wallet stolen from a vehicle Thursday morning was used to buy a pack of cigarettes later that day at Circle K, 701 W. Chestnut St. When the user attempted to buy several cartons of cigarettes using the card, that purchase was denied because he did not have identification. Police said a woman also tried to use the card, but that was denied.

Burglary alleged: Jeremy L. Perschka, 38, of 319 Washington Ave., West Brownsville, was charged Thursday by state police with burglary after he allegedly broke into a home on Jefferson Avenue and then fled into a wooded area. The charge was filed at the office of District Judge Joshua Kanalis.
