AARP consumer advocate to speak
Mary Bach, a volunteer consumer advocate for AARP and chairwoman of the AARP Pennsylvania Consumer Issues Task Force, will speak from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. April 4 at Church of the Covenant.
Bach will speak about “You Get What You Pay For,” a program for high school students to senior citizens presented in a light-hearted and entertaining format.
Her history of lawsuits against retailers prompted lawmakers to update Pennsylvania’s consumer protection law.
