Registration open for Salvation Army’s Camp Allegheny
Registration is underway for the Salvation Army’s Camp Allegheny summer camps.
The Salvation Army will offer two free camps this summer at its 90-acre camp near Ellwood City. Camp for 6- to 12-year-olds will be held June 19-24, and Camp Allegheny Sports Camp for 11- to 14-year-olds will be held July 24-29.
Camp Allegheny focuses on Christian principles and promotes an awareness of God in nature and the importance of building a relationship with him.
The weeklong camp offers a variety of activities, including swimming, crafts, sports and hiking. Campers stay in cabins, and meals and snacks are provided.

To register, visit the Greene County Salvation Army, 131 W. First St., Waynesburg. Those who wish to register should bring their child’s birth certificate and insurance card.
