Charged in crash: Travis T. Rice, 35, of Uledi, Fayette County, faces a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol stemming from a March 17 crash on Interstate 70 west of the Taylorstown exit, Buffalo. State police said he was going west when his vehicle crashed into the embankment and rolled onto its left side. He was not injured.

Officer assaulted: Jack Dennis Desellems Jr., 31, of 1223 Prospect Ave., Charleroi, was arrested Sunday night by Charleroi Regional police on charges of aggravated assault, resisting arrest, public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and simple assault. Police were called to 219 Fallowfield Ave. to remove him from the home. Police said he had run out the back door and was found in a detached garage. He allegedly struggled with police when they tried to take him into custody, kicking Officer John Dytko in the left knee. Both Desellems and Dytko were treated at Monongahela Valley Hospital and released. Desellems was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

Threat alleged: Zachary Jacob Greyshock, 25, of 538 Park Ave., Monongahela, is charged by city police with making terroristic threats, driving under the influence of alcohol and reckless driving, court records show. Greyshock is accused of threatening to punch a police officer following a traffic stop about 1:40 a.m. Sunday in the 100 block of East Main Street. Police sent him to Washington County jail on a probation violation.

Drug arrest: Jordan E. Bercik, 35, of 616 Conrad Ave., North Charleroi, is charged by city police with possessing 16 stamp bags of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from a traffic stop about 9:25 a.m. Sunday at Park Avenue and Cuff Street, court records show. District Judge Mark Wilson issued her charges in a summons Monday.

DUI, marijuana charges: Chad C. Errey, 22, of 213 Fuji Drive, Canonsburg, was charged last week by Peters police with driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of marijuana stemming from a March 10 traffic stop at the intersection of Washington and Waterdam roads. Police said his blood-alcohol content was almost three times the 0.08 percent limit at which intoxication is presumed. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge James Ellis.

Warrant arrest: Stephanie N. Victor, 24, of 25 Victoria St., Washington, was taken into custody March 19 at Motel 6, 1283 Motel 6 Drive, by South Strabane police on an arrest warrant obtained by Bridgeville police on drug charges. She also faces drug charges to be filed by South Strabane police after she allegedly was found with nine grams of suspected crack, two grams of suspected cocaine and 14 stamp bags of suspected heroin. She was released to Bridgeville police.

Theft charges: Jason Quail, 42, of 148 Evergeen Drive, Daisytown, was charged Monday by South Strabane police with theft by deception and retail theft after he allegedly stole three pairs of Levi jeans from Kohl’s, Strabane Square, on Thursday. He returned the items for store credit, police said. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Assault, harassment charges: Richard Lassic III, 22, of 47 Shannon Ave., Washington, was charged Monday by South Strabane police with simple assault, harassment, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief after he allegedly assaulted a fellow customer at Waffle House, 255 Murtland Ave., and kicked the doors of the man’s vehicle. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Charged in theft: Kevin M. Partozoti, 29, of 10 Linn Ave., Washington, was charged Monday by South Strabane police with theft by deception and retail theft after he allegedly stole a hair dryer valued at $105.98 from Walmart, Trinity Point, March 11 and returned it for a gift card. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Assault charge: William Marmie II, 39, of 308 Phillips St., Speers, was charged by Charleroi Regional police with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct after he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend at their home Friday morning.

Rollover crash: Trenton G. Heisler, 20, of Pleasant Hills, was charged with disorderly conduct and marijuana possession after Southwest Regional police said he was involved in a rollover crash July 31 while driving on Route 837 in Union Township. Heisler, the only occupant of the car, was not injured in the crash. Police said they found more than 25 grams of marijuana inside the car. Police filed the charges March 15 at the office of District Judge James Ellis.

Counterfeit money: Washington police were called to Shop ‘n Save, West Beau Street, Sunday after counterfeit $50, $20, $10 and $5 bills were passed at the store.

Radiators stolen: Roger Trout of 865 Broad St. told Washington police Sunday that two radiators that were outside his garage were stolen.

House shot: Thomas Ridge of 435 Duncan Ave. told Washington police Sunday his house was shot overnight. Police found five bullet holes in one window and one in a second window. None of the bullets entered the house, nor were any shells recovered. Ridge told police he heard a popping noise about 4 a.m.

Door damaged: Lashelle Cohen of 795 Addison St. told Washington police Saturday that the glass in a door at her home was broken by vandals.

Warrant arrest: Kevin Bruce, 33, who Washington police said is homeless, was taken into custody Friday after he was found in an apartment at 540 W. Chestnut St. Bruce reportedly told police that he was working there, but the owner indicated he did not have permission to be there. The contractor making repairs at the apartment said he had terminated Bruce a few weeks ago. Bruce, who was placed in Washington County Jail on a bench warrant, will be charged with criminal trespass and burglary.

Man jailed: David Wright, 47, of Washington, was placed in Washington County Jail on a bench warrant after Washington police received a report that he threatened to shoot and stab an employee of a Washington business Friday.
