Lenten services in the McDonald area
Lenten service series hosted by the McDonald Area Ministerial Association will continue Wednesday, with the worship service at 7:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 232 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald.
Guest speaker will be Dave Hamer, and refreshments will be served following the service.
The remaining schedule is as follows:
• March 15 – 7:30 p.m. at Center United Presbyterian Church, 110 Washington Ave., Midway. Guest speaker will be Pat Schaefer.
• March 22 – 7:30 p.m. at Robinson Presbyterian Church, 51 Church Lane, Bulger. Guests speaker will be Sandy Conti.
• March 29 – 7:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 104 Jefferson St., Midway. Guest speaker will be Justin Amsler.
• April 5 – 7:30 p.m. at McDonald Bible Methodist Church, 3185 Robinson Run Road. Magnus Walker will be guest speaker.
• April 12 – 10 a.m. at Independent Bible Presbyterian Church, 112 Dempe St., McDonald. Ben Robinson will be guest speaker.
• April 14 – noon at Irons Memorial Presbyterian Church, 147 N. McDonald St., McDonald, with the Rev. Charlie Puff as guest speaker, and 7:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in McDonald, 141 N. McDonald St., with the Rev. Gary Chorpenning as guest speaker.
