Kalsey qualifies for D-III Championships

Westminster College pole vaulter Marissa Kalsey, a freshman from Waynesburg and former state champion, has qualified for the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships that will be held Friday and Saturday in Naperville, Ill.

Kalsey is the first female pole vaulter from Westminster to qualify for nationals. She led the Titans to a first-place finish in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference Invitational as she placed first with a school-record vault of 3.74 meters. The vault ranks ninth in the nation.
