Be prepared for a shock

A recent article in the Observer-Reporter indicated that the millage rate in the Trinity Area School District might be raised by 15 mills. Using very basic math, the 15-mill rate will create an apoplectic group of senior citizens.
Seniors who have lived in their homes for many years and paid taxes over the same duration of time will have a huge increase in their school taxes, some even doubling. To figure the next tax from Trinity, just take the new assessment and multiply by .015. Be prepared for a possible shock!
