North Strabane Township police charged two Cecil Township men for their alleged roles in the theft of items from vehicles last November.

Walter Lee Winland, 30, of 16 Raven Drive, Canonsburg, is charged with theft, receiving stolen property, theft from a vehicle, access device fraud and loitering and prowling at night. David Zgorzeliski, 49, of 411 Cardinal Drive, Hendersonville, is charged with receiving stolen property and access device fraud.

Winland is accused of stealing a large quantity of gift cards from vehicles parked in the area of Lindenvue and Blue Jay drives on Nov. 13. Zgorzeliski told police that his cousin gave him the gift cards. Police estimate that the stolen cards were valued at more than $3,500.

The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
