Morris Township road to close for bridge construction
A section of Hopewell Ridge Road in Morris Township, Greene County, will be closed at Route 18 and Patterson Creek Road for at least a month for bridge reconstruction, the state Department of Transportation said.
The $1.8 million project by J.F. Shea Construction Inc., will close the road beginning today and will likely reopen May 12.
The project will include replacing the bridge deck and other miscellaneous construction.
PennDOT said there will be a marked detour using Hopewell Ridge Road, Route 21, Grange Road,Tripp Hill Road and Route 18.
