S. Hills Home Show at Iceoplex
The fifth annual South Hills Home Show will be held Friday through April 23 at the Iceoplex at Southpointe.
Show highlights will include more than 100 exhibits, demonstrations and numerous how-to clinics.
The event will kick off at 6 p.m. Friday with cocktail demonstrations and a book signing with the authors of “Pittsburgh Drinks.”
On April 22, home remodeling aficionado Andy Amrhein will speak at 1 p.m., and Toni Shelaske of Healthy Pet Products will discuss healthy diet tips at 3 p.m.
On April 23 at 2 p.m., gardening guru Doug Oster will reveal secrets of successful organic gardening.
Throughout the show, chainsaw sculptor Bill Schaudt will create one-of-a-kind works of art for sale.
Show hours are 4 to 9 p.m., Friday; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. April 22; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 23. Admission is free.
