Crash: A tractor-trailer traveling south on Interstate 79 in Perry Township crashed into the back of a PennDOT truck with an arrow directing traffic into the left lane Wednesday afternoon. State police said the tractor-trailer struck the PennDOT truck, pushing it forward, before crashing through a guardrail on the west side of the highway and running into an embankment. State police said the 1 p.m. crash happened near mile marker 1.7, where PennDOT was performing maintenance. No injuries were reported. The driver of the tractor-trailer, Nickolay Shapoval, 62, of Hilliard, Ohio, was cited for careless driving.
