With last year’s leading scorer, Zach Challingsworth, recovering from an injury at the beginning of the season, Bonnaure took over, displaying a knack for drilling clutch shots and making his teammates better. Oh, and averaging about 60 percent more points per game. The coach’s son contributed 16.4 points, 2.8 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game for a team that reached the WPIAL Class AAA quarterfinals and PIAA playoffs. Shot 44 percent (141 of 317) from the field, including 39 percent (67 of 170) from three-point range.
