South Strabane police charge man with indecent assault
A Clarion County man was arrested Wednesday by South Strabane Township police on charges including two counts of indecent assault after he allegedly inappropriately touched an 11-year-old girl.
Hugh Keating, 77, of East Brady, also is charged with two counts each of reckless endangerment and corruption of minors.
The girl told police that Keating touched her inappropriately both at his home and again at her home in late July. Police said she told her mother about the alleged incidents.
Keating was arraigned before District Judge James Ellis and released on $25,000 unsecured bond with orders not to have contact with the alleged victim. He is scheduled for a Sept. 26 preliminary hearing before District Judge Jay Weller.
