Wesley Family Services to celebrate new Washington location

Wesley Family Services will host a grand opening from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday to celebrate the new location of its Washington facility at 90 W. Chestnut St., Suite 200 East Wing.

A ribbon cutting ceremony at 3:30 p.m.

As a result of increased demand from the local community for therapeutic support services, Wesley moved its existing facility to a larger space, in order to provide expanded drug and alcohol treatment programs, and autism and behavioral health services.

“Our mission is to empower children, adults, and families with transformational care so they are able to reach their full potential,” said Wesley Family Services Chief Executive Officer Doug Muetzel. “Regardless of whether an individual or family is dealing with an autism or mental health diagnosis, or a substance use disorder, our staff will be there to help them navigate the unique challenges they will undoubtedly face along their journey.” The Washington location will offer expanded? autism specialty outpatient services, including services for those with a dual mental health and autism spectrum disorder diagnosis;? healthy relationships groups for transition-age youth on the autism spectrum;

outpatient mental health, psychological and psychiatric services? outpatient drug & alcohol programs, including Intensive outpatient programs for adolescents and adults; and forthcoming outpatient medication assisted treatment program where individuals with an opioid addiction can receive Suboxone or Vivitrol.
