Jefferson fire ruled arson

The state police fire marshal has determined that a fire that damaged a mobile home at Jefferson Estates, Jefferson Township, on Aug. 18 was arson. The fire did about $5,000 in damage to the home owned by Barbara Sue Miller of Crucible. The fire marshal determined that the fire began on the front deck. The investigation is continuing.
