Event to aid humane society

The Humane Society of Greene County will hold its the first Wags, Whiskers and Wine dinner dance fundraiser Sept. 16 at the Pennsylvania National Guard Readiness Center, Waynesburg.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. There will be food, auction items, wine tasting and live music and dancing.

Tickets are $50 each or $90 per couple. Semiformal attire is suggested. Advance tickets only will be sold.

To purchase tickets, call or stop by the shelter at 183 Jefferson Road, Waynesburg.
