BETHEL PARK (AP) – A Pittsburgh-area haunted house attraction is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the theft of computer equipment and other devices worth twice that much.

Allegheny County police are investigating the burglary at Hundred Acres Manor in Bethel Park. Police believe it happened sometime between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 8 am. Wednesday.

The stolen items also include surveillance video. Officials say other items were damaged, though they didn’t say what or how.

The attraction opens for weekends Sept. 8, and its schedule expands to other days in mid-October through Halloween.

The haunted house is run by a nonprofit that donates money to charities for the homeless and animals. The group says it expects to replace the equipment in time to open on schedule.
