Chipotle Mexican Grill coming to the Old Mill
Chipotle Mexican Grill will open a unit next month in the Old Mill shopping complex in South Strabane Township, the chain said Wednesday.
According to a news release, the company will open at 179 Old Mill Boulevard, the location of a recently completed 10,000 square-foot outparcel building that also houses a Great Clips hair salon and a Zoup! restaurant that is also scheduled to open soon.
Chipotle offers a menu of burritos, tacos, burrito bowls and salads made to order from fresh raw ingredients.
Wednesday’s announcement came in the form of a hiring announcement for the new site.
The company said it is looking to fill 30 crew member positions. Interested applicants can inquire at any Pittsburgh-area Chipotle or visit careers.chipotle.com.
The new restaurant will open Sept. 16 and will be open from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week.
The South Strabane location will be the second Chipotle to open in Washington County. A second unit operates at 3840 Washington Road in McMurray.
Denver-based Chipotle operates more than 2,300 restaurants worldwide and currently employs more than 60,000 people.
