ROGERSVILLE – Ben Jackson rushed for 217 yards on 10 carries and scored four touchdowns to lead West Greene over Avella, 53-7, in a Tri-County South game Friday.

Jackson scored on runs of 64, 10 and 58 yards and returned the opening kickoff 82 yards for another score. Zach Pettit had 4 carries for 79 yards and scored on a 61-yard run. He also caught a 25-yard TD pass from Gavin Scott. Adam Courtwright and Christian Fox also scored for the Pioneers (1-0, 2-0).

Mike Evans scored for Avella (0-1, 0-2).
