A North Franklin Township man stabbed himself to death Wednesday after allegedly attempting to stab his wife and a man, according to a coroner’s report.

Bradley Kirk Thompson, 49, of Cleveland Road, was pronounced dead at 1 p.m. in the parking lot of Allegheny Ludlum, 500 Green St.

According to a report from Washington County Coroner Tim Warco, Thompson approached a vehicle in the parking lot that was occupied by his wife and a man, and broke out a window.

He reportedly attempted to stab the occupants, who were not identified, before stabbing himself in the chest.

The coroner’s office is investigating the death as a suicide.

The woman and man were transported to Washington Hospital. Details of their injuries were not immediately known.
