For the second time in a little over two weeks, a robber has hit a store in Clarksville, Greene County.

State police say a man entered Muhly’s Little Store on Center Street about 8:45 a.m. Sunday, displayed a firearm in his waistband and demanded money. The robber fled with the cash from the register and was seen running across the bridge into East Bethlehem Township in Washington County.

The robber was described as white, about 5-foot-8, in his late teens or early 20s. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses.

On March 30, a man of similar description wearing a hooded sweatshirt, a dark mask and sunglasses robbed the same store and fled on foot, though no gun was seen in that incident. The store also was robbed last Nov. 27.

Anyone with information is asked to call state police in Waynesburg at 724-627-6151.
