Rosalie Smith, 76, of Jefferson, died Thursday, April 18, 2013, in her home, following a lengthy illness.
She was born October 24, 1936, in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Harry and Isabelle Morris White.
Mrs. Smith was a homemaker who enjoyed bingo and going to the stock sales at the Waynesburg Stock Yard. She was an avid Elvis fan.
She was married to the late Edward Smith, who died November 4, 2011.
Surviving are six children, William Smith of Jefferson, Charles Smith of Nemacolin, Brenda DeLacruz and husband Juan of Jefferson, Roger Smith of Nemacolin, Susan Smith of Jefferson and Priscilla Smith of Waynesburg; a daughter-in-law, Stella Carr of Waynesburg; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two half brothers, James “Jess” Pitcock of Waynesburg and Loye “Butch” Pitcock of Nemacolin; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a son, James E. Smith; and two brothers, Carl White and William White.
Family and friends will be received from noon to 2 p.m., the hour of services, Tuesday, April 23, in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P.
