Action:

• Agreed to look into making repairs to Race Street after hearing a request from a representative of several businesses on the street.

• Voted to accept York Realty terms to initiate the process of appraisals for the Route 18 sewer project condemnations at a cost of $6,800. Letters were sent to residents within the project area who are delinquent on tap-ins and have not connected to the line.

• Purchased 100 street signs from Ibis Signs for $6,100.95.

• Rescinded a vote to provide $2,926 to Washington City Transit as the township’s contribution to the Metro and Hopper bus system. Supervisor Bob Franks said it appears the only stop in the township is at the Jessop Place Park-N-Ride.

• Learned a meeting will be held May 8 to discuss the planned residential development application for Phase III of the Brick Ridge plan.

• Continued the meeting until 6 p.m. April 29 to discuss ordinances under consideration.
