Anthony Joseph, 31, of Canonsburg, was charged with following too closely in connection with a March 24 accident in South Strabane Township.

State police said Joseph was traveling behind Mary Satina of Scenery Hill at 2:20 p.m. when his vehicle struck the rear of Satina’s vehicle as they both attempted to merge onto Interstate 70 east from Clare Drive. Satina was taken by ambulance to Washington Hospital, where she was treated for injuries, police said.
