Barry L. Shaw, 64, of Cecil, died Sunday, January 7, 2018, in his home after a long illness.
He was born December 8, 1953, in Canonsburg, a son of the late Arthur and Florence Roney Shaw.
He worked as a card dealer at Caesars Palace, Atlantic City. He lived with his wife in Absecon, N.J., for 38 years and enjoyed following New Jersey sports. He was an avid coin collector.
Surviving are wife Carol Grosek Shaw of Cecil; son Patrick (Danielle) Shaw of Malvern; and two brothers, Father Ken Shaw of New Rochelle, N.Y., and David (Carol) Shaw of Canonsburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Patricia Bioni.
Services will be held at noon Wednesday, January 10, in Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road, Rt. 50, Cecil, followed by a Christian Funeral Mass at 12:30 p.m. in St. Mary Church, Cecil, with Father Stan Gregorek officiating.
Private interment will be at a later date in St. Mary Cemetery.
